    • Up to 6 months in county jail
    • Fines
    • Restitution to the victim(s)

Felony

When the accident involves more than just property damage and there are injuries to a victim(s), a hit & run will typically be charged as a felony.

  • Penalties

    • 2,3, or 4 years in state prison AND/OR
    • A fine between $1,00 and $10,000
    • Restitution to the victim(s)
